This Week
I was finally able to get a couple layouts completed this week.
Since Tyler's school is in the backyard, when the teacher takes them for a walk around the block, they pass our house. This time I caught them with the camera as Tyler was showing them where we planted the little flower he brought home to me for Mother's Day. This was a triple dip as I used a sketch from scrapsketch, the YMBD tutorial for doodling, and Coordinates Collections back to school challenge to use 3 pp, chipboard, and stitching.
Homemade noodles are a tradition in my family. My grandma taught me and now I am passing this on to Tyler. He had such fun and I love the picture of his doughy hands. I used this weeks 52 sketches sketch and because I used a YMBD journaling tag, I entered it in the monthly product parade there too.

This was Tyler's first year to plant a garden. These are pictures of him with his carrot harvest. I used a sketch from scrapsketch and doubled dipped with Marti's YMBD challenge to use at least three pieces of chipboard. I used chipboard photo corners that I inked, the circle, arrow, and house that I chalked, and the chipboard thickers that I painted.

New Work
Here are some new layouts.
I started this layout for a challenge to use at leat five different types of letters. I really like the way it came out. This is also an old 52 sketch.
This one was made using the September sketch over at YMBD. It also has a YMBD journaling spot.
